The reviews — start to finish.

"Fast and great service! Finished my oil change within 30 minutes."

— Maylon M. · CARFAX verified service review · February 22, 2026

"Benjamin S was very helpful and friendly when I stopped in on Monday. He communicated well and got me back on the road in about an hour."

— Dianna D. · CARFAX verified service review · August 6, 2025

"I am very happy with my service. I trust this dealership and will keep coming back. Thank you!"

— Nicole K. · CARFAX verified service review · January 18, 2026

The service department is led by Service Manager John Vuyancih, with a customer-facing team that includes Service Advisor Benjamin Sink, whose name shows up across multiple verified reviews — including a 2024 Pathfinder Platinum owner on CARFAX in February 2026 ("the service director Ben and staff were professional and accommodating") and Lynn Dee on DealerRater ("the service department is efficient and Benjamin Sink is professional and courteous").

And when a visit runs long.

"Friendly, efficient — just seemed a long time for oil change, tire rotation and install a new battery. Just was a bit disappointed that it took 2 hours."

— Doris Forrest Kopp · DealerRater service review
Dealer response "Thank you for your recent service visit Doris. Sorry that it took longer than expected. We will do our best to get you in and out in a timely manner during your next visit."

Express service

Walk in. No appointment.

Express Service is the lane for routine Nissan maintenance. Every visit includes a complimentary 27-point inspection — brakes, tires, fluids, lights, battery, belts, hoses, and underbody. The full Nissan scope is on the Nissan Service & Maintenance page.

Express covers:

  • Oil and filter change
  • Air filter replacement
  • In-cabin microfilter replacement
  • Tire rotation and balance
  • Battery diagnostic and replacement
  • Brake services
  • Shocks and struts
  • New tires
  • New wipers
  • Factory scheduled maintenance

Wait times vary by day, but a routine oil change usually runs 30 minutes to an hour when the lane is moving — that's the range customers describe most often in CARFAX and DealerRater reviews. If you want to know how busy the lane looks before you drive over, call (440) 934-6001.

Pricing & how we quote

Quoted on the VIN, in writing.

Service prices change with the model, the engine, and what parts are on hand, so we quote each car on its VIN rather than post a flat menu that may not apply to yours. To get a real number:

For larger work — major repairs, transmission service, recall repairs, warranty diagnostics — call for a written estimate before you bring the car in.

What we quote on most often

  • Oil and filter change (Nissan-approved oil to your model's spec)
  • Tire rotation and balance
  • Brake pad replacement, front or rear axle
  • Wheel alignment
  • Battery diagnostic and replacement
  • CVT fluid inspection or replacement
  • Multi-point inspection (complimentary with every visit)

For a sense of the going rate before you call: AAA puts brake pad replacement at $100–$300 per axle for pads alone, or $250–$500 per axle when both pads and rotors are replaced. Our written quote will tell you which side of that range your car lands on, and why, before any work begins.

Service amenities

A place to actually wait.

The waiting area has free Wi-Fi, self-serve coffee, cable, and your car comes back washed. On the bad-weather days that Northeast Ohio insists on having, we'll pull your car into the indoor service drive so you don't have to stand in the snow while we look it over. For longer jobs we have loaner vehicles when they're available, and we'll send a tow if you're stuck on the side of the road.

"Found the cause of the noise and fixed super fast, gave me a loaner to use and had my car back the very next day."

— Cbear · DealerRater service review

To request a loaner or a tow, call (440) 934-6001 when you book.

What we service

Every current Nissan, plus the ones before.

We're an authorized Nissan dealer, so service is performed with Genuine Nissan Parts where applicable, by technicians factory-trained on the current lineup: Rogue, Sentra, Altima, Pathfinder, Murano, Kicks, Frontier, Armada, Z, LEAF, and the new Rogue Plug-in Hybrid. We still service Versa, Ariya, and other recent models that have been phased out of the US lineup — bring yours in.

Per CARFAX service-history data, the work we do most often here is oil change, steering and suspension, and tire rotation (CARFAX).

And we don't turn your car away if it isn't a Nissan. CARFAX records show service work at this location on Chevrolet, Ford, Infiniti, and Jeep, in addition to Nissan.

Warranty service

Honored at any authorized Nissan dealer.

We honor every in-force Nissan factory warranty. Per the Nissan warranty terms, new Nissans carry a 3-year / 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and a 5-year / 60,000-mile powertrain limited warranty, whichever comes first. Nissan EVs add an 8-year / 100,000-mile battery warranty.

Warranty work is honored at any authorized Nissan dealer regardless of where the vehicle was originally purchased — even if you didn't buy it from us:

"I had a back up sensor fixed that was under warranty. No charge and no hassle."

— DealerRater service review (no name on profile) · via Birdeye aggregate

Recalls are covered the same way. Look up your VIN on the Nissan recall page before you come in, or we'll check it for you when you arrive. The federal database at NHTSA returns the same information.

Pricing transparency

Independently rated Grade A by CarEdge.

Our sales-side pricing transparency is independently rated Grade A, 96.7 out of 100, by CarEdge, based on three verified out-the-door quotes. CarEdge looks at three things: the documentation fee (ours is $398, in line with Ohio's 2026 statutory cap and disclosed up front rather than buried in line items), add-on behavior (no mandatory dealer add-ons appeared in CarEdge's verified quotes), and price accuracy (advertised listing matches what you actually pay).

That score is for the sales side. On the service side, customers tell it in plainer terms:

"Very helpful staff. Not pressured. Buying experience one of the best."

— Carol H. · CARFAX verified review · March 19, 2026

"Communication was great! Service was timely."

— 2017 Sentra owner · CARFAX verified service review · October 29, 2025

A note on the listing: CarEdge's database displays our location as "Sheffield Lake." Our actual address is 5013 Detroit Rd, Sheffield Village, OH 44054.

Service FAQ

Common questions.

How long does an oil change take?

Customers describe Express oil changes anywhere from 30 minutes to about an hour, based on CARFAX and DealerRater verified reviews. Wait time depends on how busy the lane is that day. Call (440) 934-6001 if you want an estimate before you drive over.

How much does an oil change cost?

It depends on the model, the oil spec, and any current promotional pricing. Call (440) 934-6001 with your year and model for a current quote, or check our service specials for what's posted.

How much does brake pad replacement cost?

It depends on the axle, the model, and whether the rotors need replacement or resurfacing. AAA's national figures run $100–$300 per axle for pads alone, or $250–$500 per axle when both pads and rotors are done. We'll quote you in writing before any work starts.

Do you honor warranty work from other Nissan dealers?

Yes. Per the Nissan warranty terms, the 3-year / 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and 5-year / 60,000-mile powertrain warranties are honored at any authorized Nissan dealer no matter where the car was bought. EV battery is 8 years / 100,000 miles. Bring your warranty paperwork or just your VIN and we'll confirm coverage before any work begins.

How often should I change the oil in my Nissan?

It depends on the model, year, and how you drive. Most recent Nissans land somewhere between every 5,000 and every 7,500 miles, with shorter intervals for severe duty (frequent short trips, stop-and-go traffic, towing). The authoritative answer for your VIN is the Nissan maintenance schedule tool — or call (440) 934-6001 and we'll look it up.

How often should the CVT fluid be changed?

Per Nissan's official maintenance schedule, CVT fluid is inspected at the regular oil-change interval and replaced at 60,000 miles under severe driving conditions. Look up the spec for your model and year on the Nissan maintenance schedule tool, or call (440) 934-6001 with your VIN.

Do you have loaner vehicles?

Yes, when they're available, and depending on the kind of work. Mention it when you call (440) 934-6001 to book and we'll set one aside if we can.

Is dealer service worth it compared to an independent shop?

For Nissan-specific work — CVT software updates, sensor calibration, recall repairs, warranty service, anything that needs Nissan diagnostic tooling — an authorized Nissan dealer is either the only option or the most accurate one. For routine work like oil and rotations, an independent shop may be priced lower; we quote in writing so you can compare and decide.

Book a visit, or just walk in.

Express is open weekdays 7:30 AM – 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM – 4 PM, no appointment needed. If you'd rather schedule, we'll have your bay ready when you arrive.
